An Ideal Student:

The aim of education is to produce better men & women. This aim can be acheived only if the students put their heart & soul in their work. A student is a perosn who devotes himself to the pursuit of knowledge and learning. The knowledge he gets not only qualifies him for some occupation but also makes him a better student to seek knowledge. The pursuit of knowledge is not an easy thing. It demands hard work and full devotion. Unfortunately, some students are content to learn a few things that will get them through the exams. The ideal student will not satisfied with this.Learning is a passion with him. It is an active and all-absorbing passion. It brings him pleasure & happiness and makes a new man of him. For him, knowledge is not the name of a few formulate and bits of information. For him, it is wisdom & a sacred thing.

An ideal student is not a bookworm. He knows that a healthy body is necessary for healthy mind. he takes interest in all the activities that promote physical health. He goes to the playground with the same pleasure & enthusiasm with which he frequents the library. An ideal student is not an unsociable person. He loves his fellow students & participates in all collective activities.

An ideal student believes in simple living & high thinking. He hates cheap & gaudy things but loves cleanliness & beauty. He is kind & generous. He is always ready to help those who needs his help. He does not disocurage or injure others by words or deed. he respects others, even if he does not agree to their beliefs & opinions.
